Another Question About E-Books

Like many of you, I presume, I enjoy browsing used bookstores. There is a lot of that’s wonderful about such stores; one can find a great deal, or find a book that’s out of print and difficult to lay hands on. And — sometimes — the books have been annotated by their previous owners adding another layer of fun, or intrigue, or annoyance in some cases, to one’s reading.
However, with the advent/arrival of e-books, marginalia may be a thing of the past, and such little discoveries and delights along with it. The New York Times has this to say about the issue. I found it interesting and thought I’d share it with you all.
